The families on Morning Dove Lane formed a neighborhood group and are all members of the Neighborhood Watch program. They invited the Rocklin Police and Fire to join their block party celebrating National Night Out. The neighborhood group communicates online via the resident intranet, www.wearewhitneyranch.com, to stay involved and informed about upcoming meetings and events.
The firefighters and police officers visited the National Night Out block party event to meet the families, answer questions, and of course enjoyed the hot dogs and ice cream too!
National Night Out is an annual nationwide event designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and unity and develop the partnership between City and the community.
